What is a Bolt Events Comic Con?
Comic Con is a pop culture event that celebrates comics, movies, TV shows, video games, cosplay and other forms of entertainment. It features cosplay contests, character meets, activity zones and exciting merchandise for customers to purchase. All of our events have fantastic free activities, which includes the likes of face painting, retro gaming, board gaming, green screen photography, prop photo opportunities, colouring zone, caricatures, movie cars and more! Will there be celebrity guests signing?
No, this is not an event that has TV & Film guests offering autographs. We do however have authors and comic artists who will have an exhibitor table, so you can purchase their items directly.

How do I book an exhibitor's table at an event?

How can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased for all of our events on Eventbrite here, or on the door on the day with cash or card payment subject to availability.
Is cosplay allowed?
Absolutely! Cosplay is encouraged, and there will be a costume contest with prizes for the best costumes. Please read our costume guidelines before coming along to the event, you can find them here.
Are there changing rooms for cosplayers?
Some venues will have changing facilities - if in doubt, please contact the venue directly for questions surrounding changing and lockers.
Will there be vendors and exhibitors?
We will have a huge variety of exhibitors selling comics, collectables, trading cards, toys, plushies, handmade gifts and more! Keep an eye on our Facebook page where we will have dedicated posts about some of the exciting stands you can find at the event.
Is the venue accessible for attendees with disabilities?
If you have a question about a specific venue, please contact them directly and they can best advise the provisions in place to assist attendees with disabilities.

How do I get to the venue?
We have the address for each of our events displayed on the webpage. We would advise looking at local transport options or alternatively if you intend to drive, you can plan your route with Google Maps.
What is the policy on photography and filming?
Photography and filming are allowed, but please respect the privacy of other attendees and obtain permission before taking close-up shots. As a company Bolt Events can offer a press pass - if this is of interest please email your accreditation to zoe@bolt-events.com
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Most of our venues have restrictions in place due to on site catering, so we would always recommend for customers to either use the facilities on site, or bring a packed lunch.
What should I do if I lose something at the event?
Our front desk will be handed any items that have been found during event hours. At the end of the event any items unclaimed will be passed onto the venue to take care of.
