At Bolt Events our mission is to bring Comic Con experiences to towns and cities near you, offering an affordable, fun-filled day for the entire family, with a commitment to inclusivity for all.
We aim to eliminate the need for costly travel to major cities by hosting our events locally. Our focus is on creating enjoyable experiences for everyone, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy, even if it’s simply watching loved ones have a great time.
Key to our mission is making many attractions inclusive within the admission price, providing ample opportunities for fun without additional costs.
We deeply value our exhibitors, who either handcraft their items or bring the best in retro and vintage toys and collectibles. Their support is vital in keeping as many free activities as possible. We work diligently to offer them the best opportunities to shine and would go as far as to say we have one of the finest selections of exhibitors in the country!
Inclusivity is paramount, which is why we offer a soft opening half an hour before general admission. This allows those with additional needs or those who prefer a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the event stress-free.
Bolt Events is a family-run company dedicated to providing a Comic Con experience that is inclusive to all.

Logistic's Manager
I have over 20 years of Comic Con event experience, starting out as a fan attending shows to meet celebrity guests, discover amazing merchandise, and enjoy everything the community had to offer.
That passion quickly grew into a full-time career, where I moved behind the scenes planning, organising, and running events for multiple Comic Con companies across the UK.
I’m now proud to be part of the Bolt Events team, looking after all things logistics and graphics — helping bring each event to life from the planning stages right through to show day.
You’ll usually find me running around making sure everything is in place… or behind my own stand, Mojoe Ink, creating and selling unique geeky merchandise.

With over 17 years of experience in the events industry and a diploma in Photography, I have been lucky enough to capture some incredible moments behind the camera.
My photography journey has taken me to a huge variety of events, from live music gigs featuring artists such as 30 Seconds to Mars, Bowling for Soup, Linkin Park, and Iron Maiden, to Comic Cons where I have photographed fans alongside legendary guests including Sigourney Weaver, William Shatner, and Bill Paxton.
Now as part of Bolt Events, I love bringing my passion for photography to our green screen experiences. The best part is seeing families, friends, and fans create unforgettable memories together — and being able to capture those moments for them.
